It is very important that you always follow these medicine safety instructions.
Store medicines out of reach and sight of children. Keep them in the original container with the instructions. Medicines prescribed to you should never be used by anyone else, even if they have similar symptoms. Never put medicines (tablets, capsules, liquids, creams, inhalers, vitamins, herbal products, etc) in the bin, down the sink or toiletas it causes pollution.
Return any unwanted or out-of-date medicines (prescribed or bought) to your pharmacy to be safely destroyed using the medicine disposal service.
When you are prescribed medication always follow the instructions and advice offered by your GP and pharmacist.Take the time to read the information about medicine safety that comes with your medication. This will make sure that you take the medication correctly and know what side affects and complications to look out for, and what to do if they occur.
